To further streamline brandSuite's all-in-one experience, we've decided to add Invoicing and Payments directly into brandSuite. This guide explains how to pay your invoice for your brandSuite services from your brandSuite App.

Invoices for brandSuite will be sent digitally by email while also appearing in the Invoices tab in the brandSuite App.

To pay your invoice through brandSuite: Click on the invoice, this will direct you to a landing page that displays all line items on the invoice and allows you to pay via credit or debit card.

It will look similar to what is shown above. After an invoice has been paid, you can click Download as PDF to save the receipt in PDF format. Your statement will indicate the following in the description: "BRANDSUITE, BRANDARROW".

That's it! You're good to go.

How should I configure my DNS records to connect to Website Pro?

To connect your domain to Website Pro, it must have either an A Record, or a CNAME:

A Records
- If an A Record is required then it should point to 104.154.100.138
CNAME Records
- It is recommended that sites use a CNAME Record pointing to host.websitepro.hosting

You should also be aware that CAA Records (if present) can prevent Website Pro from obtaining an SSL/TLS certificate and securely serving traffic:

You don’t need one at all. If there is no CAA Record then any issuer can provide valid SSL/TLS certificates
If you do want to a CAA Record (which is more secure) then you must allow letsencrypt.org to be a certificate authority. Let’s Encrypt is the certificate authority Website Pro uses to generate and renew SSL certificates.

A web cache (or HTTP cache) is the temporary storage (caching) of web documents, such as HTML pages and images, to reduce server lag. For example, when you return to a page you’ve recently looked at, the browser can get those files from the cache rather than the original server, saving you time and saving the network the burden of additional traffic.

Caching static files reduces several systems between an end user requesting your website and the delivery of the WordPress PHP files and thus, speeds up your WordPress site load time. Caching can be implemented on several levels and Website Pro has one level of caching implemented for you.

Website Pro has a reverse proxy layer implemented with Nginx. Nginx is very fast and has an efficient caching mechanism. This can make viewing your changes awkward, but you can skip the cache by adding any URL parameters to the address: www.example.com/path/you/are/checking/?skip-cache __ Currently Website Pro caches all content that matches the following criteria for 1 hour:

How to point a domain from your old host to Website Pro

If your domain is currently pointing to a site on another host, then these instructions should allow you to point your domain to your Website Pro site, with zero downtime. Follow these more specific GoDaddy Domain Transfer Instructions if your DNS records managed in GoDaddy. Follow these new domain connection instructions if you are not transferring your domain from a previous host.

Part 1: Configuring your Website Pro Site

Log into Website Pro and navigate to the Domains tab
Click Connect a Domain
Enter your domain name. Click Add Domain.
Your domain will show up in the table and it will be marked pending while Website Pro gets ready to handle requests on that domain. This should take a minute.
When it can handle requests on that domain it will still appear disconnected because Website Pro can detect that your DNS records have not been updated. Once you followed the steps in Part 2 it should become connected.
- Your SSL Certificate will also be pending at this point. Once the domain is connected it takes several more minutes to obtain an SSL Certificate.

How to use SFTP to access the file system

When hosting your site on Website Pro, we allow you to access your file system via SFTP. Other systems often allow this, but through FTP. It’s the same concept, but SFTP adds a layer of encryption for security purposes. In this article, we’ll explain how to connect to your sites file system through SFTP.

Step 1: Add an SFTP key pair

The first step in connecting over SFTP is to set up your SFTP key pair in the Website Pro dashboard. To do this, navigate to the SFTP section (see screenshot below).

On the SFTP page, click “Add Key” and enter in a key name. You will then be able to download your private key that is associated with the key that was just added.

Step 2: Connect to your file system using SFTP

Once your new key pair has been generated and you’ve downloaded your private key, you will be able to connect directly to your file system. To do so, you will need an SFTP client, such as FileZilla. It is free and available for Mac or PC.

How to use FileZilla:

Open FileZilla > File > Site Manager > New Site
Enter host as: sftp.websitepro.hosting
Enter port as: 22
Set protocol field to: SFTP – SSH File Transfer Protocol
Set logon type to: Key file
Enter your user: xxxxx
Choose your key file
Click connect
